Digitizing is the process of converting a design for embroidery services.

Here are some things to keep in mind when trying to estimate the cost of digitizing a design:

• Image digitization starts at $25 and is charged at $25 per hour (rouded up to the nearest quarter hour).
• The more detail an image has, the longer it will take to digitize.
• The scale of the intended use will affect the time it takes to digitize.
• Digitizing is a one-time service fee and will not be charged per item.
  • This means if you order 10 polos with chest logos in March and then need 5 more in July, you won’t be charged for digitizing the same logo a second time.
  • Because embroidery is different on different mediums, we will charge for digitizing the same logo for different mediums such as hats, shirts/pants, and larger items like blankets.
  • We try to encompass as much as possible with the first digitization, but some products are specialized and we will make sure to review each case with you before charging for or beginning our work.

Vectorization is the process of converting an image from standard formats (such as JPG, PNG, or TIFF) to a format that allows us to easily increase or decrease the resolution to fit any size product.

• Image vectorization starts at $25 and is charged at $25 per hour (rouded up to the nearest quarter hour).
• The more detail an image has, the longer it will take to vectorize.

Sometimes you’ll start with an image that needs a background removed or is in .pdf format. For designs like these that require graphic design editing (such as the addition of text, additional graphics, etc.), we charge $25 per hour.

Here are some things to keep in mind when trying to estimate the cost of editing a design:

• We charge a minimum of 1 hour and round up to the nearest quarter hour.
• The more changes a design requires, the longer it will take to edit.
• Sometimes “small” changes are not as easy and straight forward as they seem. We have high standards and will not provide rushed work that doesn’t meet our standards.
• We will be requesting approval throughout the design editing process.

• Each item is charged $1.50 per 1,000 stitches (rounded up to the nearest 1,000).
• Example #1: For 25,500 stitches on one item, the charge would be $38.25.
• Example #2: For 25,500 stitches on ten items, the charge would be $382.50.
• If the customer provides the apparel, each item starts at $2.00 per 1,000 stitches (rounded up to the nearest 1,000).
• Example #1: For 25,500 stitches on one item (made of standard cotton/polyester blend material), the charge would be $51.00.
• Example #2: For 25,500 stitches on ten items (made of standard cotton/polyester blend material), the charge would be $510.00.

• If the image provided requires digitizing, the rate will be based on the size of the image and stitch count (as described above).
• The digitizing fee is charged per image, not per item.
• If the image requires editing, the charge will be $25 per hour.
